Jennifer (Jenny) Bullard is an award-winning abstract artist based in Oklahoma City, OK. She exhibits her work in Fine Art shows across the country. Her pieces can be found in both private and corporate collections as well as in the Vickers Collection Fine Art Gallery in Vail, CO.

With no formal training, Jennifer grew up in a world of art. Both parents, Joan Betancourt, and Cdr. Floyd E. Sykes were award winning artists. With her father being a Naval aviator, Jennifer lived coast to coast and spent numerous weekends assisting her parents at art shows.

Always having an interest and love for art, especially the Impressionists, Jennifer never had the desire to paint until later in life. With the encouragement from a friend (during yoga class), Jennifer decided to give it a try, jumping right in with large scale floral abstracts. Displaying in local restaurants, and selling to friends and local interior decorators, her art business took off and has not slowed down.

The possibilities of paint allow Jennifer to convey, in abstract form, the joy she feels in painting and creating. She loves creating pieces that cause people to ponder and dig into their imaginations to discover what might be.

“Having someone fall in love with one of my pieces and want to display it in their home for all to see and enjoy is such a great honor for me.” I want my work to inspire and lift people’s spirits. In these crazy times, we need more positivity, even if it comes from looking at an uplifting piece of art.”
